Zombie Cocktail Recipe

This Zombie Cocktail, Is A Great Idea for Your Next Party!

For all of you Rum drinkers out there, here is a cocktail recipe for you and your friends to try!

As with all great recipes, whether food or drink, changes are made from one person to another. Some are altered, many improved and a few are totally transformed. The rules of the recipe are meant to be altered to suit your individual taste.

The following cocktail recipe is a tried and true favorite among rum drinkers! Try a "Zombie" at your next get together!

Ingredients:

• 1 oz lime juice (fresh lime is always best)
• 1 oz light rum
• 1 oz golden rum
• 1 oz dark rum or anejo rum
• 1 oz orange juice
• 1 oz pineapple juice
• 1/2 oz cherry brandy
• 1 tsp. of simple syrup

To Mix:

Mix the ingredients well in an ice filled cocktail shaker.
Strain into a highball or Tom Collins glass with ice.
Garnish with a pinch of powdered sugar, fruit slice, pineapple stick and a mint sprig.

A Nice Option: Float a high proof dark rum on top such as 151.

Introduced at the 1939 World's Fair, the "Zombie" has endured as one of the most popular rum drinks. A Zombie makes for a great party drink as well as a nice relaxing drink after a hard day at work! If you haven't yet tried the Zombie, give it a whirl. But be forwarned, this drink packs a serious punch!

Beware!

The Zombie is a petty good name for this baby. One too many and you'll be feeling like one in the morning!
