Kayak Fishing the Keys!
On this page you will find information on South Florida kayaking areas, kayak sales and rentals, kayak fishing, maintenance and what to bring!
If you love the outdoors and enjoy being on the water, you really owe it to yourself to try kayaking. It offers a tranquility you won't find elsewhere.
It's about as close to the marine environment as you can get without snorkeling or diving!
Althought the fishing itself can be very productive from a kayak, just the act itself is enough for me.
It's so quiet, all you can hear are the sounds of nature. It's so peaceful, you just might want to take your camera and leave your fishing rod at home!
“If I have learned one thing in my 54 years, it is that it is very good for the character to engage in sports which put your life in danger from time to time. It breeds a saneness in dealing with day to day trivialities which probably cannot be got in any other way, and a habit of quick decisions.” - Nevil Shute
