There are more cafes and restaurants in the twenty five miles from Key Largo to Islamorada than any place I have ever been and truth be told, I haven't found a bad one yet! It's true that I love to eat and it is also true that some places are better than others, but by and large the food down here is exceptional.

When feeling like oriental, the Num Tai Restaurant in Key Largo is the best you can get anywhere. For the special occasion, the new Big Chill is great and can make any meal a special occasion. For good old home cooking you can't beat Hobo's and the list goes on.

Then there are the wonderful places where you can eat outside and watch a beautiful sunset over the gulf or just watch the ocean go by. I can still remember my enjoyment at eating Christmas dinner out on the deck a few years back. Pretty good for an old gal from the Rocky Mountains!
