Harry Harris Park and Beach Area!

Harry Harris Park, Great Seaside Location for the Whole Clan!

"HH is a very popular hangout for the locals and the day-trippers from Miami and Homestead!"

Located at MM 92.5 Oceanside in Tavernier, FL. Harry Harris Park is an excellent beach and park area to bring all of your family and friends for a great day of fun and sun.

We always bring our visiting guests to Harry Harris because of the quiet, laid back ambiance and the friendly people who enjoy the park's amenities.

The park has something for everyone.

A tidal pool for the young ones to wade, swim and explore, a boat ramp for the fishermen and divers, grills, picnic tables, showers, playgrounds, a bike path, a ball park, and of course, a nice little beach!

“It is an interesting biological fact that all of us have in our veins the exact same percentage of salt in our blood that exists in the ocean, and therefore, we have salt in our blood, in our sweat, in our tears. We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea---whether it is to sail or to watch it---we are going back from whence we came.”
- John F. Kennedy

Fishing and snorkeling are common activities outside the jetty but remember to use your dive flag if you are going in the water!

TIP! I prefer "big" dive flags. The bigger the better. Under certain circumstances, we will dive from the beach or from a kayak. When we do, we want other boaters to know we're in the water! A "big" dive flag that's visible to the boaters is a necessity. After all, it's you, your family and your friends that you are trying to protect. Don't skimp on your dive flag!

The park is open from sunrise to sunset. There is a park fee on Saturday, Sunday and Federal Holidays of $5 per person over 16 years of age, applicable to non-residents only.
