Florida Keys Guide to Transportation

"Get yourself a convertible and head south with the top down!"

There are shuttle and taxi services available to and from the major airports north of the "Keys".

Although these services are available, most people who fly into Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports prefer to rent a car there.

For those of you that prefer to fly into the "Keys" or utilize one of the local shuttle services from the Miami area, you have some fun options.

You can rent a car, a jeep, a motorcycle, an RV, and/or a bicycle.

It all depends on your personal needs, or your need for adventure! Whichever you choose, there are many Florida Keys attractions just waiting for you!

I'll be the first to admit, I'm no expert on transportation. But, I would highly recommend you consider a convertible or pop top rental.

Cruising the Overseas Highway with the top down is nothing short of nervana. The sights, the sounds, the smells, the views, all most excellent!

Whether you call it the Overseas Highway or the Florida Keys Highway, the important thing is to see it, experience it, and enjoy it!
