The Conch House Restaurant!Another of the Great Key Largo Restaurants!The "Conch House" is located in Key Largo at MM 101 or so on the Ocean side. It is a great little spot for a quick get away and a great meal.
The "Conch House" sits in the middle of an area surrounded by foliage and trees. It's nestled in this beautiful area perfectly. The veranda leads you into a quaint little dining experience. We especially enjoy eating on the porch and visiting with the other guests. With such a relaxed atmosphere, people are super friendly and love to share their stories. We visit with the locals and tourists alike and enjoy hearing their latest adventures. We love to watch their faces as they talk about the monster fish they caught or the creature they encountered while snorkeling. "Before eating, always take time to thank the food." On our last visit, I indulged in the fried conch and homemade chips. Jim opted for the Mahi Mahi tacos. Wow! We shared the tacos which I can say are the best I have ever had and you can never go wrong with "Conch", I don't care how you cook it. The staff is very friendly and is willing to give you their suggestions from the menu if you ask. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. This restaurant is definitely a keeper!
