This Bahama Mama is perfect for relaxing on a hot day and it’s also a big hit at parties.
For all of our rum drinking friends, you have got to give this one a try!
This tropical cocktail has 2 excellent rum ingredients. Coconut rum and an anejo rum!
The coffee, coconut, and pineapple juice give it that, “Wow, I should be in the islands,” feel.
But, if you can’t be in the islands, where ever you are is perfect!

Bahama Mama Recipe!
- 1/4 oz Kaluha or coffee flavored liqueur
- 1/2 oz grenadine syrup
- 1/2 oz coconut rum
- 1/2 oz anejo or high proof rum (floater)
- 1 oz dark rum
- 1 oz orange juice
- 1 oz triple sec
- 3 oz pineapple juice
- juice of 1/2 lemon
Combine all ingredients except for the anejo or high proof rum and pour over cubed or cracked ice.
Add the anejo or high proof rum last as a floater.
Garnish with a cherry, Strawberry, pineapple or lemon wedge and serve.
Serve in Collins, High Ball or Hurricane Glass.
