This "Bahama Mama Recipe" is another great rum drink in a long line of great rum drinks!



This Bahama Mama is perfect for relaxing on a hot day and it's also a big hit at get togethers.

For all of our rum drinking friends, you have got to give this one a try!

This tropical cocktail has 2 excellent rum ingredients. Coconut rum and an anejo rum!

The coffee, coconut, and pineapple juice give it that, "Wow, I should be in the islands," feel.

But, if you can't be in the islands, where ever you are is perfect!

As with all great recipes, whether food or drink, changes are made from one to another as they are passed along.

Some are altered, many improved and a few are totally transformed. The rules of the recipe are meant to be altered to suit your individual taste.

Bahama Mama Recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 oz Kaluha or coffee flavored liquer
  • 1/2 oz grenadine syrup
  • 1/2 oz coconut rum
  • 1/2 oz anejo or high proof rum (floater)
  • 1 oz dark rum
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 3 oz pineapple juice
  • juice of 1/2 lemon


To Mix:

Combine all ingredients except for the anejo or high proof rum and pour over cubed or cracked ice.
Add the anejo or high proof rum last as a floater.
Garnish with a cherry, Strawberry, pineapple or lemon wedge and serve.

Serve in Collins, High Ball or Hurricane Glass.
